This Privacy Policy explains how Faro Shine ("Faro Shine," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit faroshine.com or contact us about our vacation-rental turnover operations platform.

2. What data we collect
Depending on how you interact with this website, we may collect:
- Contact data you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and the contents of any email you send to hello@faroshine.com, when you reach out about the platform.
- Basic technical data — such as your browser type, device type, and the pages you visit, collected only to the extent needed to serve and secure the site (see the Cookie Policy for what this site currently sets).
This website does not currently include a signup form, account creation, or payment collection — those flows belong to the Faro Shine product itself, which is covered by a separate privacy notice at the point you sign up.
3. Why we process this data, and our legal basis
- To respond to your inquiry — processing your contact request is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or based on our legitimate interest in answering questions about our services.
- To operate and secure the site — based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site functional, measuring basic usage, and preventing abuse.
4. How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of the conversation, and is deleted or anonymized once it's no longer needed for that purpose or for a legal obligation we're subject to.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with service providers who help us operate this website (for example, hosting and email delivery), acting under our instructions and only for that purpose. We do not currently share visitor data from this marketing website with Lodgify or any other third-party booking platform — Faro Shine integrates with Lodgify calendars as part of the product itself, not this website (see the Integrations page for what that integration covers).

If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we take steps required by applicable law — such as relying on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses — to ensure it stays protected.
