How it works

One turnover, six moving parts, zero guesswork

A booking checks out. Someone has to know, someone has to clean, someone has to check the work, and someone has to get paid. Here's how Faro Shine carries that whole chain — in order.

Step 1

Calendar sync

Faro Shine watches your booking calendar — built for Lodgify workflows, and reads iCal feeds from Airbnb, Booking.com, and other channels — so a new checkout creates a turnover automatically. No one has to type a date in twice.

Step 2

Checklist creation

Every property gets a standardized checklist, so "clean" means the same thing at every listing and with every cleaner, not whatever the last person remembered to do.

Step 3

Photo proof

As the crew works through the checklist, they attach photos to the items that need them. When it's marked done, there's a picture to back it up — not just a checkbox.

Step 4

Incident flagging

Damage, a missing amenity, a maintenance problem — flagged the moment it's found, with a photo and a note, instead of surfacing three guests later as a bad review.

Step 5

Scheduling

Assign a turnover to a cleaner or a crew, reassign it if plans change, and see who's doing what today — from a mobile-first view built for someone standing in a hallway, not sitting at a desk.

Step 6

Invoicing

Completed work becomes an invoice, with a clear trail back to the checklist and photos behind it — so billing a client never means reconstructing what actually happened from memory.

Built for the whole turnover

The same system, three points of view

A cleaning company, an individual owner, and a property manager all touch the same turnover — Faro Shine gives each of them the view that matches how they actually work.

Questions about how it works

Do I have to use every part of Faro Shine, or can I start with just scheduling?

You can start wherever it’s useful — scheduling and checklists first, and bring in incident tracking or invoicing when you’re ready. It’s one system, not a bundle you have to switch on all at once.

Who fills out the checklist and takes the photos?

Whoever does the cleaning — an individual owner, an employee, or a collaborator working for a cleaning company. The checklist view is mobile-first, built to be used standing in the property, not filled out later from memory.

What happens when an incident is flagged?

It’s recorded with a photo and a note the moment it’s found, and the relevant owner or manager is notified — instead of finding out about damage or a maintenance issue from the next guest.
